Following on from that there’s IGHM and Hour Glass, both singles that have done far more than I could have thought possible - it took major convincing to even release Hour Glass in the first place. While these two are older songs in comparison to ITIS, I really had them in mind for the EP for some time. It’s Gunna Hurt Me is driving those exact lyrics into your ears for the duration of the song and this is something I really wanted to try, similar to some Four Tet stuff i had been listening to at the time. This time I had something to work with in terms of making a feeling or emotion a lot more obvious to the listener, something i found hard to gauge during the creation of some of the tracks.
